Any individual or organization who wishes to participate in one of the below sponsorship opportunities should contact the Earthrise Institute to make the appropriate arrangements.

As we discuss on our programs page, we expect to dedicate one telescope at the Earthrise dark-sky site to full-time usage by the PlanetQuest project. Students who participate in this project will have the opportunity to participate in the discovery and characterization of planets beyond our solar system, including the possibility of planets like Earth. For a contribution of $100,000 to Earthrise, we will name this telescope in honor of the donor, or in accordance with the donor's wishes.

COMET OBSERVING AWARD ($10,000)

We will offering special awards to all students around the world who successfully observe ten or more of the comets in the "Countdown to 500 Comets" program. For a contribution of $10,000 to Earthrise, we will name this award in honor of the donor, or in accordance with the donor's wishes.

Earthrise Associates will be honored by having their names inscribed on a special "Earthrise Associates" plaque that will be displayed within a special gallery of the Earthrise administrative center when it is built, and on the "Earthrise Contibutors" plaque to be erected at the Earthrise dark-sky site. They will also receive a personally autographed copy of "Everybody's Comet" by Alan Hale, a full-scale canvas reproduction of the special "Earthrise" painting by space artist Michael David Ward, and will be invited to all Earthrise special events.

EARTHRISE CONTRIBUTOR ($100)

Earthrise Contributors will be honored by having their names inscribed on a special "Earthrise Contributors" plaque to be erected at the Earthrise dark-sky site. They will also receive a personally autographed copy of "Everybody's Comet" by Alan Hale and will be invited to all Earthrise special events.
